Weekly Report
Welcome to this week’s property report.
Another auction day on Friday with three properties under the hammer.
There has been a noticeable lift in contracts being signed over the last few weeks and with more clients meeting me in town next week, the quiet period we witnesses through Feb – April may well have lifted.
Auction results from today:
- First up was 195 Beacon Point Road, so much scope with this one, this was passed in. But a deadline set for 3pm Monday 20th with interest building.
- Next up was 12b Mallard Street entry level buying in Albert Town and this was clearly evident with 8 bidders having a go at this one, selling for $755,000.
- The final property was 109 Infinity Drive, this was pitched as one of the more affordable homes in Peninsula Bay. This passed in as well with conditional offers already being made.
There is significant interest in the $700-850K price point so if you are considering selling in this bracket please let me know.
This week we viewed a range of new properties on Thursday morning…
First up was a quiet listing on Rifleman Street in Albert Town. My colleague had a buyer around a short time later, I had another one by 5pm and we had an offer by 6pm. Now under contract.
We headed out to Queensberry next, with a 3 bedroom home with stunning views of the Clutha River and out to the mountains. Perched on the hill with significant land, this is escapism at its best. Another quiet listing, I do have photos if you are interested so let me know.
We have a new 800 sqm section on the Main Road in Luggate just down from the Hotel; this will be great entry level buying.
The final property we viewed was a large five bedroom home perched high on the hill at 98 Anderson Road. A very low maintenance home, perfect for a holiday pad with ample bedrooms for kids and guests.
The plasterers are in at our place at the moment, with painters due in the next week or so so there’ll be another update on our place next week.
If any of these properties appeal, please get in touch.
Have a great weekend,
Mitch
