Weekly Report 27th Jan

Welcome to this week’s property report.

We had a massive storm blow through Wanaka on Wednesday night – trees were down all over the place, roads closed and lots of places losing power. It was very intense but only for a few hours.
Fortunately for us our building site was just the foundations and blocks so no damage up there. The bricklayers are cracking into it – I cannot get over the speed that the guys build at down here – we’re going to be in before we know it. We have three Auctions next week – 67 Meadowstone, 105 Infinity Drive and a great section on Sam John Place Lake Hawea.
Our property caravan was a quick one this week – we viewed four new sections.
  • Lot 45 on Alpha Ridge, a great section which should enable some fantastic views down the lake (launching soon).
  • 7 Mountain View Drive boasts over 4000sqm that is incredibly close to town, a developers dream if you have the patience.
  • 59 Mt Nichloas Avenue in Northlake is up next, and elevated large section with great mountain views priced well at $449,000.
  • The final property is a commercial section – business zoned in Three Parks precent, 1000 sqm and well prices at $525,000 + GST.

I completed in the Ruby Island swim yesterday morning in rubbish conditions. It quickly turned into survival mode to get to the finish line in one piece, back next year to have a much better crack at a good time.
