Weekly Report
Welcome to this week’s property report.
It has been a stunning week of weather this week as town readies itself for the Audi Winter Games which start today.
We’ve had plenty on the go within our auction room this afternoon and three new properties were launched to the market this week.
From the auction room:
First up was the Auction of 65b Kings Drive Wanaka. With very competitive bidding this property sold to my very happy buyers for $1,310,000. Well done guys!
Next up was a holiday rental property just down the road, at 107a Kings Drive – this did not quite meet the reserve, with conditonal interest post auction, be in quick for this one.
This week we viewed an established family home situated on Ballantyne Road – this is a quiet listing but if you are looking for a significant home with large surrounds please let me know and I can arrange a viewing.
We then saw two new builds nearing completion at the very stylish Stackbrae Subdivision, both within walking distance to town and offer the ability to gain good rental returns with short term letting.
I’ve had a couple of people ask about preparing their homes for sale, wanting to know what they can do to ensure that their home reaches top value, so I have put together a checklist of 10 tips to get you thinking about how best to present your home to potential buyers. You can download this checklist here:
Getting Your House Ready for Sale
Spring is upon us and new listings are starting to filter through now so please keep me updated with your buying briefs and I will do my utmost to find a suitable property for you.
Any questions please feel free to ask.
Have a great weekend – hopefully we’ll see another All Blacks win over our Australian friends tomorrow night!
