Welcome to this week’s property report.

I have being going back to old school tactics to find suitable properties for buyers this week, knocking on doors and on the phone as demand is certainly out stripping supply. This is quite possibly why section sales have been so prevalent in recent times. I had a count up earlier this week and I have sold eleven sections in the last twelve months.

If you can’t find what you want, then lets find you a great section and I can help put you in touch with a handful of reputable builders to build something special. There is nothing more rewarding than planning and seeing the fruits of your labour develop and take shape to form a stunning holiday home or permanent residence here in Wanaka.

This week I have spent some time with locally based Turnkey Homes. By chance I played golf with a gentleman this week who had built with them and he could not have been more positive over the entire build process. For the full interview click HERE.

We have a couple of new listings this week and a handful coming though next week.

First up is a fly-fishermans haven at 2 Wilkin Road, Makarora. Set at the top of Lake Wanaka this area is well know to fly-fishermen and provides a perfect getaway pad.

We also have 65b Kings Drive: location, views and hassle free is how I sum this one up. This is going to Auction on the 24th of August.

My family and I are off to Gore this weekend for the Hokonui Fashion Awards. My wife has done a lot of work with NZ Fashion Week in the past and has helped the team at Hokonui Fashion Show with their marketing this year, so we are heading South!
