Weekly Property Update

Welcome to this weeks property report.  The sun is finally shining after a sodden old week in Wanaka, although the upside to the bad weather means more snow for both ski resorts so there’s still plenty of fun to be had up both mountains.

3 Perrow Street (featured photo) went to Auction on Friday afternoon. With a fierce battle unfolding, this property sold under the hammer for $847,000,  

We have four new listings coming to market

– Listing One – 3 bedroom home on Rimu Lane.  It’s a quiet, private residence with great views and would make a perfect holiday haven.

– Listing Two – immaculately presented 4 bedroom home on Mount Iron Drive.  Has two living areas and room for the boat

– Listing Three – 2 bedroom home on lower Aubrey Road.  Great location and beautiful views.  There’s the potential to convert either of the two garages into bedrooms too

– Listing Four – a well estabalished large family home with 4 bedrooms on Kings Drive.  Very close to schools and of course walking distance to town.  Would make a perfect family base, or be a great place to invest with friends or family.

I regularly get asked by clients  ‘We love it here, how can we make it work to live here either full time or a large proportion of the year:’.  I recently interviewed an enterprising couple who wanted that work life balance so they set up their own business right here in Wanaka. Unfortunately for me I put my back out on Monday morning and this week has been a struggle, so no skiing this weekend for me!
