Weekly Property Update
Welcome to this weeks property report, the last for the year as Christmas is upon us. The town is filling up and a few tired souls are looking forward to a break!
Still plenty happening in our world with new properties coming online for early next year.
This week on the property caravan we viewed the following:
We have a new section launching at Kapuka Lane, Kirimoko Heights, large build site and super close to the schools.
A beautifully cared for 4 bedroom family home on Little Maude Drive in Lake Hawea. This home is incredibly private, If you were looking for a slower pace of life, you could walk in and enjoy this home straight away.
Boasting stunning views on 151 Lakeview Terrace, Lake Hawea, this lockwood home needs some love, but a flat back section will allow for a serious project to transform this into one of the best homes on the street.
Please call or email me if any of these properties sound interesting.
Last week I posted an interview with Colleen Toping where we talked about the rental market here in Wanaka. The feedback has been fantastic – thanks to those who have made comment. If you could not access the link please click here for the read. A really good read and insight in to the home letting market.
2017 has been a massive year for my family, we sold our villa in Auckland and made the trek back down South. Our daughter started school recently and our son is finally sleeping through the night!! (Something of a minor miracle given that hes 3!).
From your feedback to date, my clients have appreciated the extra level of service and information I have been able to share with you all. My property blog website (www.mitchcampbellrw.co.nz) is receiving plenty of visits as people search out information on Wanaka and interesting interviews with Wanaka locals who deal with property.
This has translated into nine sales in the last seven months and three current listings. What has been beneficial is passing onto clients our own knowledge of moving here and what to consider and potentially disregard.
It’s exciting times for my wife and I next year, as we begin our new build. I will endeavor to keep you updated on the progress the builders make. Have a happy and safe Christmas.
I always look forward to your feedback, so if there’s something that you’re after, please get in touch. I look forward to speaking to you soon.
