Weekly Property Update
Welcome to this weeks property report. If last week was quiet, then this week has been anything but! Since the launch of Moraine Rise just two weeks ago, the Ray White team have done an amazing job with 21 of 24 sections now under contract. One of my clients moved quickly and managed to secure a very good section. There are only a couple of sections left if you are interested in 800sqm section, with a few minutes walk to Lake Hawea for under $300,000, great buying.
Adding to the Moraine Rise success, we have had three great results on properties I have recently featured in my weekly update. Please see the recently sold section below.
During our property caravan this week we viewed two new builds in the very popular Stackbrae subdivision.
I try to keep in touch with you all each month and one trend that I have seen is a number of clients looking for sections in and around Wanaka. Next week I will feature a selection of the best sections that we have on our books for you to consider. Hopefully something to help plan your future new builds right here in Wanaka.
My wife and I were fortunate to meet up with one of my clients on Wednesday over a very enjoyable dinner. I had shown this client their section by video and had sent them numerous photos of the view and surrounds. This week was their first time viewing their section in person and their feedback was “it was even better than we expected”. A great result for them and both of us eagerly shared our new build ideas and plans for 2018.
A large part of my role with the premium team here at Ray White Wanaka has included meeting like minded business people who work within the Central Lakes region. I recently met with Simon Russell from Forsyth Barr to get an understanding on what he does and the satisfaction he gets from servicing the local market. For the full article please click here

There are very few dull moments in my family’s life. I write this from the airport lounge as my sister and I make a quick dash to spend some time with our younger brother and his family in Brisbane after a recent family loss. With technology access these days I will be on email and phone if you require anything.
