Welcome to this week’s property report.

Back into work this week after a short trip away to a warmer climate with the family. It has been a sharp adjustment to the weather as I experienced -5 degrees heading to the pool on Wednesday morning!
Plenty on the go with two auctions this week, a new subdivision launching this week and a short one-week campaign for an auction next week.
A few stats to get you under way today from June’s Trademe Property Insights.
  • The average price estimate for Wanaka is $1,240,300
  • 133 Properties Sold in June
  • From March 2018- Feb 2019 the average sales value is $1,274,763
  • A 9.7% change from the same period the year prior.
Two auctions this week.
First up was 120 Upton Street – so much potential with a large site on the town flat. Bidding did not quiet reach the desired level. Conditional interest now available.
Next up was a cute wee bach in Hawea at  145 Noema Terrace. This sold for $625,000.
Just a quick update for next Wednesday – we launched a gem of an entry level property at 19 Arklow Street, Albert Town this week.  The auction is next Wednesday so a very short and sharp campaign.
Clearview Subdivision launched last week too with pricing from $329,000 for 400sqm sections right up to some stunning larger lots with very very impressive views on offer at the premium end. I have spent plenty of time up there already combing through options for clients on site, so please ask away if there is interest on these sites. 15 sites were under contract after the first two days which is really positive.
We also saw some very competitive pricing from Kirimoko Summit Edition on their 600sqm site, with a 4.5m build height on these sections. There is now only five left, priced to compete with Clearview and they are very good buying at $450,000. Get in quick!
