Welcome to this week’s property report. Another stunning week weather wise, with beautiful hot sunny days and plenty of lake swimming to be had.


Auction Day on Friday had four homes going under the hammer.


The first property was 174 Plantation Road; a real gem of a property, great location and a perfect opportunity for a make-over or start again! With seven phone bidders and another two in the room this sold for $782,000.


Property two is  15 Niger Street a perfect lock up and leave holiday home. Although this did not sell under the hammer there is serious conditional interest ready to go.


The location of the third property would be hard to beat at 149 Warren Street. If you are buying for with longer term plans to build something special then this would have been perfect, in the short term this property will still provide a great family haven. It sold under the hammer with two parties competitively bidding until $1,100,000.


The final property takes us to Albert Town with this very well presented property at 56 Sherwin Avenue. Not quite reaching the reserve this is a great property with Albert Town on the move with new cafe, bar and fish and chip shop not far away.


The holiday season is almost upon us and the town is starting to fill up ! with plenty of people about. My wife has been in Auckland for the last two nights with her work, solo parenting a three and five year old has been fun! I look forward to her return later tonight!
