Local architect looks at things differently
Wanaka architect Doug Robinson, from Salmond Architecture has used is own personal tastes and circumstances to design a home where space is at a premium. Wanaka has a significant problem with affordability for entry level homes, so ideas like Doug’s could go a long way to helping our community continue to prosper for all. Perhaps there’s a policy in there for one our political parties!!
Not only relevant for Doug’s small home design, his comments on key considerations are things that most people need to take into account if planning to build or purchasing a new home:
- Having good storage space is essential
- Don’t have your bathroom access come off your kitchen
- Plan enough space for visitors
